un-creasing vinyl
Discussion
It's not for LM but I figured this was the best place to ask as you guys are experienced with your vinyl. I've very kindly been given a windscreen strip as fitted to the Khumo race cars to go on my track car. Trouble is it was folded to be posted and now it's all creased. I was wondering what the best way was to go about un-creasing it, or even if it would be OK if I fitted it as it is?

There's a chance that once it's off the backing and sticking nicely to your windscreen the creases will come out. The only other thing I would try, is ironing it through a towel (on a low heat), maybe.
What about a heat gun on a low setting?as suggested some gentle heat on application will help a lot
in the mean time if you can be bothered tape one end down on your dining table
peel the sticker back then stretch the paper backing as much as possible before taping the corners down, lay the sticker back down onto the backing, then put some weight on the creased areas for a few days
