What size C-spanner do I need to adjust the height of the nitron shocks on my front, please?

Thanks,

There's just one size of C-spanner isn't there?

I have one if you are stuck (it came with the car and there are AVO shocks on mine but it should fit).

C spanners are normally sized by the outside diameter of the rinr you trying to adjust.

If you can measure the ring, then thats all they need.
Also measure the gap where the tooth fits just in case.

You can get universal ones which have a cranked hinge, but they do fit a range of sizes, so again need the OD of the ring nut.

Nitron do the C spanner for their spring seats. Nitron use a round hole instead of hte more traditional square lugs on the spring seats so a normal C spanner has to be modified to be used on Nitron spring seats (not a big problem though, just means filing the square C spanner lug into a round peg).

I just ordered one from my shock manufacturer. Arrived in the post 2 days later.

My adjusters turn by hand with the weight off the wheel, although I've also used a correct diameter round bar to fit in the holes.
