It is really just about less pedal......You could always fit a really stiff spring under the loud pedal. You can have a drive of mine on 16th may. Always gonna seem more scary when your not in control (ala passenger)

Thanks Phil. I'd like to have a go as driver. You see GasMan just went extremely quick and snaked all over the road. Dont get me wrong he corrected it brilliantly, but the roads were slippy.
I've always panicked as a passenger. Hate not being in control.
Thanks for the offer
WHS^^
We only had a quick spin down to the roundabout and back... hardly enough of a test to base a firm decision on. Tyres had not warmed up and the roads were damp and greasy so lack of traction was a major issue. However normally it is quite easy to drive, and very forgiving too. The extra grunt is very useful for getting out of "situations" and makes cruising in 6th sooo easy now.

Well my hosts in France over christmas were treated to some snaking in 3rd gear with 4 up in the car
Im going to try to get my bloody wideband in this weekend to extend further.
Mel, I think you will find a hefty NA similar. So really what its all about is what power do you want. It sounds like you are ok as is, or maybe just cam only plus the usual bolt on's.

Drove Monkfish`s cammed car...gotta say its really quite impressive and not a million miles of a low spec blower.
Finally someone has comes to their sensesIts nice to see Roger discovering the joy of cams too. I know he prefers small cams, so a slightly larger cam is even better, though yes, can have low speed foibles.
"Performance" and "stock cam" ultimately dont go in the same sentence.
its all very well chasing power but like Mel I've decided not to pursue any further power gains. The car has enough, much more and traction has been very well proven to be the issue (even in standard guise).
After talking about cam upgrades etc over the last month or so I now feel that with my tune and mods that the best method for performance would be diff gearing.
Well done mel, I think there is a point where you can go too far with tuning cars to the point where you might end up with a great drag car but soemthing not as fun to drive on teh road.
To put it another way, the day I stepped up from 600cc to litre class bikes, I was able to go much faster with less effort which resulted in less fun.
