Lost Springer Spaniel - Luton area
Discussion
Bit of a longshot really.....but Alf the Springer has gone walkabouts...his owners have a positive sighting of him around the M1 Toddington Junction, Jct 12, heading towards Sundon Pit in Upper Sundon (I don't know the area, hopefully that might make sense).
If you're in the area and see anything can you make contact through Dogslost - full details on the link below. Needless to say Alf's owner is in pieces at the moment

Thanks, there are full details on http://springthing.3.forumer.com/index.php?showtop... (the thread is pretty long though...)
I can't imagine what it must feel like to know that your dog is out there on its own somewhere

Springer Spaniel lost in the Luton area tonight you say.....I keep a look out up here tomorrow morning then
BTW the above is meant in jest. I really hope you/the owners find him asap.
Springers can cover some ground but I think that's pushing it....thanks for the excuse to bump though

Aww. I hope Alf is soon reunited with his family. I would hate to lose my Dog.
Some friends have a Springer, and she escaped the garden a couple of years ago. After two days, they spotted her in some local fields, covered in mud and tired. She came to them, and has never attempted an escape since.

I work in luton not that far from lower sundon. i will keep my eye out.. But chances are he will be running around sundon pits
Thanks, I think that is where they are heading off to search today. They (and others) have rung all of the dog wardens, pounds, rescues etc. and postered around the likely areas as well as ringing local farms, vets, network rail etc. etc.Nothing as yet...the searchers are out and there are a good few people ringing and emailing everyone they can think of who might be able to help.
Someone suggested that Amazon.co.uk have a big warehouse along the motorway at Toddington - I don't know if it's true, if so does anyone know anyone who works there who could stick up some posters or post on an internal message board?
