Hi all
Got the superchip in the wifes car as well as the petrol boost valve. The early results are good as we were out for our monthly TVR meeting/blast in the cars.
I seem to feel the difference in mid range and it seems to rev out easer.
Got it roll roaded as well and it was putting out 150BHP at the wheels at 4500rpm. The mechanic who done it said that I could add 20%for loss through transmission etc which in my calculation it has increased the "flywheel"bhp from 168 to 186 (can't expect much more) but I am delighted.
Track time will tell the tale.

Thats a good figure, typically losses on RR are absolute values and not necessary a percentage, 40-50 bhp is quiet normal. You should have little difficulty in keeping up woith 4ltr chims now they don't have a lot more power then that IMHO .

Still waiting on Podies post for this very subject, I hope this hasn't stolen his thunder too much as we are waiting on Ted to get his finger out and post it as an article .
btw where did you get it done

Got it done at W Mcvicker
I would not think you have heard of him
as I am from other side of the water (Ireland not france)
but he has a good rep over here and is very well known in the rallying circles setting up a lot of the top cars.

No but they have a lot lot more torque and as we all know... BHP sells cars and Torque wins prizes...
