A colleague wants to buy a car in the UK and use moneybookers to pay for it. He's not viewing before purchasing so he'll wait until the car is here in Ireland before releasing the funds.

I think the transaction looks scammy but if the website is pretty secure then he might be OK to use it.

Aside from the nature of the purchase, has anyone used moneybookers? Is it any good? Does it do what it says i.e. purchaser can release funds once satisfied with goods recieved?

I've used it for transferring money to different sites before for gambling purposes. No problems there. Not sure about the security aspect with funds being returned and so on. All I know is I got my money on/off there pretty quick.

Yeh , I used it for a gambling transaction a year or so ago, only for about £50 though.

No problems.
