OK a little embarrassing but my car rolled down the driveway into my garage pillar on Sunday as the handbrake failed when I was about to clean her. The car is currently now at a Ferrari bodyshop. They have just emailed me saying that they can't get a few parts from Ferrari.

I need to locate a rear n/s light unit, the rear grill and more importantly the rear N/S/R wing (they have the rear bumper)

Any help much appreciated and yes..... a little upset as the car only travelled a few yards before it hit the wall at 5mphfrown

Hi Foundy

Sorry to hear about your problems, just a few quick names that may be of help.

E-bay.
Eurospares.
Douglas Valley breakers.
QV-London.

Sounds like you may have to graft on a s/h panel if a new one isn't available. If not a good panel man can repair or make a section from scratch, however this is more a restoration area than a body shop.

Good Luck

Julian

Someone was selling a rear grill on UK ebay recently.

Only othet thing you could do is call up eurospares, damax, qv london.

Ricambi in america sometimes gets hard to find things.

Worse case for the rear, you could get the new 348 Le Mans grill that Husker is selling.

Ouch that sounds nasty.

I presume you mean the car is at a bodyshop as the only official Ferrari one is in Slough.

Some 348 parts are getting hard to get you should send a PM to Angelis on this site he is getting the body on his 348 painted and has located many parts in the process so may be able to help.

Certainly the rear lights and the rear grille are no longer available new from Ferrari - so 2nd hand or new old stock is your only chance for those bits. Eurospares as said above or Douglas Valley breakers. Alternatively there are aftermarket upgrades to convert to 355 style back end? Not ideal, but a possible solution if all else fails...

It's getting harder and harder to get parts for the 348 now.

Front fog lamps are like gold dust. You can't get original ones anywhere. So one smack at the front and you are buggered.

I couldn't even get hold of a 348 rear view mirror. No more left in the world.

Thanks for the help. The bodyshop have said they can panel beat the wing so might not be as bad as first thought. Will check the sites for the light cluster etc.

Thanks.

Cheers boys..... but on a serious note cannot locate parts anywhere, used or second hand. Can't have it written off just for that as I love the car far more than the 993
