Which Tyres?

Hi everybody,
I wonder whether there are some tyres for the Noble that have turned out to be best or if everyone drives what he likes.
The car I bought has Bridgestone Potenzas fitted.

What do you drive?

When I bought mine it had the S-03s on.
I did one trackday at Snetterton and they were fine, it was a nice sunny dry day.
Then I changed them for T1-Rs and found that these are far better, especially in the wet.
Although to be fair the Bridgestones the S-03s were pretty worn.

I had Bridgestones on mine when i got the car really didnt like them felt like i was driving on a greasy road all the time.... fitted Goodyr F1 and as an all round tyre wet and dry got to say feel alot more confident slingin it into a tight corner got to say well happy with them. Any others ???????

I had SO3's on the Cerbera and replaced them with Proxy's, Proxy's much better all round IMHO - but as mentioned, that was on the Cerb.

Thanks all. Ill compare prices for T1-R and Eagle then. Had Proxxes on my Elise, too and they were really good.

Goodyear F1-Asymmetric get my vote.

If you push the front end hard through corners the toyo's side walls are a bit soft.
The F1's are probably the best all round solution IMO

Bought mine with so3s on,hated them! got a full set of eagle f1s fitted for £650 and they are brilliant,feels like a different car!

When you change your well worn PS2's for a set of new F1's you are going to notice a major difference in feel, grip and anything alse you're looking for. Not because the PS2's are any worse than the F1's, but because one is shagged and the other is fresh. Both tyres are very good and one will not run away as a clear winner. So come on people lets have some balanced views. No need to write a tyre off as pure rubbish just because it wasn't given a fair chance.

Sorry should of said the so3s had only done 3000 so plenty of meat left,the op asked for opinions and i gave mine,should of added IMHO

Sorry, I wasn't picking anyone in particular out, it happens on all forums and it was a general observation. Not saying you're wrong about the so3s either, but you need to compare like for like for the true picture.
Maybe say why tyre 'x' was better than tyre 'y' as well.

Same as me i had loads of life left on my SO3 but took em off cos really didnt trust them. I have used F1 for the last 8 yrs on few different cars and always been impressed. just about ready for another set on mine they are down to the wear markers on the rear and still better than my half worn S03s mind you i am driving around the twisty dirty roads of the Isle Of Wight.

Goodyear F1-Asymmetric also get my vote.

SO3's also good, but I think I prefer the goodyear.

In my personal experience, NEVER buy Toyo.

why the comment about the toyo take it your talking 888s i was thinking about getting some for track use ???

IMHO, I tend to consider the SO3s as the best all-round tyres for the Noble. A pity they are discontinued.

i fitted the Re 050A's IIRC to replace worn So'3's and thought they were great, although i drive like miss daisy

Using Goodyear F1-Asymmetric as a winter tyre on my M400. Very impressed with grip in the cold and wet, but then again, just about anything would be better that Corsas in those conditions!
