im trying to read all topics in this 's' forum. im on about page 50
of about 500.

the thing i want to know is, when i turn off pc then come back,
i cant go straight to the last page i read, and have to click next,
next, next until im up to my last page
its bad enough now, but i'll go crazy when i get to page 200.

please tell me i'm doing it wrong

Hi John

You'll drive yourself crazey reading them all - just use 'search' 'advanced search' and use the key words selecting the S forum on anything of interest - or just ask the question in the forum and someone will help/guide you. They are such a helpful bunch you wont believe it

If you want to go back to a previously viewed page use the history icon on the task bar or next to favorites. Thats if your using windows.

Make sure that the address bar is enabled in your browser, for Internet Explorer 7 it seems to be always on, with earlier versions you may have to turn it on in the view/toolbars menu. You're on your own if you use another browser! The last bit of the address for the forum page 2 will show thus:

................gassing/forum.asp?h=0&f=11&i=20&mid=57421

Note that i=20 value towards the end of the address and click the 'next' link, see how it increments by 20 for each page. Make a note of that value when you finish a session and edit the address when you start again. If you want to do it by page number (page number -1) x 20 will get you there.

Can't help thinking there should be an easier way of doing it, but I don't remember one right now. The history on my browser shows individual topics rather than forum pages.
