Thinking of buying a 246 where is a good place to find information on these cars?
Are there any independent engineers that specialise in the 246 that can do pre purchase inspections?

try foskers at brands hatch, they always have a few in for renovation. They could probably find you a good one if they haven't got any in stock

Cartwright cars are no different from any other dealers like Bob Houghton ect ect.
Cartwright just charges way more for his Dinos and people fall for the BS.
One of the best sources of Dino information is found on the Dino forum here.. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?...
There are quite a few specialists that can do PPis for you. I highly recommend http://www.bobhoughtonferrari.co.uk/ to help you in your search.

You could also go to Verdis - as they have one for sale - and have restored several.

Amazing pictures.. but why oh why would you want to ruin beautiful lines (on the blue one) by welding those hideous flares onto the wheelarches? confused I am sorry, but that is criminal shoot

In fact thats a factory thing. Some Dinos came from the Ferrari factory that way. They are known as "Flares and chairs". They are not as common as the conventional Dinos.

Yes it is, here's another one but finished. I have also included a shot of the standard Dino along with the F&C version for a comparison.
Pictures are not mine by the way.

Thanks very much for the information.
So what about price for a good restored car?
