Following a very successful Xmas meal a couple of months ago, this seemed like a good idea. I'd originally thought of the vernal equinox weekend (21st/22nd), but that's Mothering Sunday, and restaurants will be packed.

But the clocks go forward in the small hours of the morning of Sun 29th March...which seems like as good an excuse as any.

So:-
Sunday 29th March
1pm
Red Lion @ Hunningham.

Post up if you're interested and if you're bringing anyone else, and I'll book a table once we've a good idea of numbers.

Cheers,

M.

Are folk from across the border in Northants allowed to come along and play? If so, I may be able to come along. Is there a plan for a drive out at all, or just lunch?

trust me, you'll be too stuffed after lunch for hooning anywhere hehe

I'm sure you'd be welcome, we've had others from the Northants borders join us before

Excellent, I shall try an keep the day free then. And good to hear that the portions are of a suitable size! Although given that I only just fit in my car as it is it may be best to skip dessert.....

You're very welcome...with one slight flaw...their large (12-seater) table is already booked, so we're stuck with an 8-10 seater, and we've already got 10 takers above.

If we can find another 3-4 people we can book the table next to it as well I'm sure...so drum up a couple of mates and we're sorted! biggrin

As long as you apply for a Visa! Not sure if mine is still valid but will be tired that day as it is the first F1 GP of 2009 smile and will not be there

Just had a thought - the current table is 8-10, so if we can get to 12 people 8+4 would work well on both tables.

Snake - bring the missus along, job done! biggrin

Sorry guys, looks like my inconsiderate friends have gone and arranged a joint birthday bash for the 28th. And as such I doubt I'll be in any state to talk, let alone eat much before 4 in the afternoon. Cheers for wangling things about for me though. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next time.
