Phone Chargers

At last it seems that the major mobile phone companies have agreed to make a one charger fits all phone's.

Why has it taken so long ?

This will end running round the office trying me find charger for you phone.

Agreeing to make a common charger, and deciding on what it will be, and who manufactures it is something else.

I see this taking some considerable time to filter down to the shops. Early days I know. Maybe it will be like the multi jack plugs thingys you get our of ASDA for a different applications.
