Has anyone fitted Falken tyres to a 430 - if so would you recomend it?

I'd stick with OEM tyres. Falken are generally cheapy tyres.

But seem to get very good reviews from owners of a wide variety of different performance cars.

Just because a tyre is same as OEM, it doesnt mean its the best choice; especially in terms of tyres. Ferrari will just choose a tyre based on a supply/price/quality.

Additionally, F430's originally came with Pirelli as standard but now have Bridgestone (or vice versa), so OEM changes over time too.

Personally, i'm on the market for some new rubber, but think i'm probably going to go for Pirelli PZero Rosso (directional on front and Asim on rear). Was looking at PZero Corsa's but they seem to be more trackday directed and are much worse on the wet. Given that I dont do much tracking I prefer a better road going tyre.

Go with Pirelli Corsa's or PZero.
