Recommend me a Pen......

Right, I've searched all my life, in vain, for the perfect pen.

I'm so fed up I've been using a pencil for years.

So, what are the recommendations?

ps., first person to suggest a Mont Blanc gets the QI buzzer - I detest the hateful things!

I use a Waterman fountain pen. Wonderful. About £30 will buy you a decent one. Mine is 12 years old now.

I noticed one of my staff using a very nice new contoured Parker the other day. I attempted to steal it, but was unfortunately unsuccessful.

Waterman or Cross at a push.

Waterman pens I find have a much better weight to them than the Cross items and the nib is better, taking up your style quicker.

I'm not a fan of Mont Blanc either to be honest.

I might have to look at a Waterman, this thread has made me think about buying yet another nice pen to lose.

Well, maybe not the Omega and the Audi, but yes, the short sleeve shirt is not only irrational but incomprehensible.

Parker all the way. I've tried some of the 'better' pens, but Parker foutain pens just seem to fit my hand very nicely.

dunhiill make some nice ones.

although you need to get over your mont blanc phobia as they are the best.
