SL55 AMG vs SL600 R230 Chassis

I am considering both the SL55AMG and the SL600 as options. Does anyone have any sort of comparitive idea in terms of handling, ride etc between the two?

Is the SL600 more of a GT car, with more wallowy suspension than perhaps an AMG tuned merc? I'd assume so? Any info anyone can give me, especially if someone has driven the two I'd be interested to hear. I'm aiming to drive them both to compare, but very interested in opinions.
