Inspired by a conversation I had in the pub yesterday afternoon (ah, the life of a freelance), here's an interesting, but true, 'My mate...' story:
My mate Scott was briefly suspended by his public school for Devil worship. True.
Another mate, couriers precious gems and watches for a jeweller around London and internationally. Last month he took a watch to the middle east worth £11.5m. True.

Any details on that watch? I am a bit of a watch nut and I am not aware of any watch ever made that has come close to that valuation.I'm curious!

This is my mate. I went to school with him. He was bright, articulate and generally the teachers pet. Good A-level and 10 GCSE's......where did it all go so wrong??

Police are hunting for a murderer who went on the run after escaping from a secure mental hospital.
Paul Caesar fled Springfield Hospital yesterday morning
Paul Caesar was being held at Springfield Hospital in Tooting, south London, after being convicted of murder in 1996.
Police described him as dangerous and urged members of the public not to approach him.
The 37-year-old was last seen at the hospital on Tuesday morning.
He failed to return after spending time unescorted in the hospital grounds.
Caesar was described as a light-skinned black man, 5ft 9ins, with short-cropped receding hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey cap, white trainers, a black zip-up jacket and blue tracksuit bottoms.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We are appealing for information after a man absconded from a medical facility this morning.
"If members of the public see Caesar they are asked not to approach him but to dial 999 immediately and speak to police."
A spokesman at the hospital said staff members were working with the police in their inquiries.
Ps......he killed his dealer and stored him behing his sofa for two weeks!!

+2£11.5m would make it officially the worlds most expensive watch by some margin stealing the title from the Henry Graves pocket watch (sold at auction in 1999 for $11.5m ). Something like an £11.5m watch would be all over the internet watch sites as HUGE news.
