Bookatracks photographers have uploaded pics from the recent Hethel track day which I attended. So heres some pics of my 944 in action and yes you could feel the body roll !

I have the same lean problem with my 1990 944 turbo, equiped with crappy old boge shocks.
I will be upgrading to the M030 anti roll bars from the 968CS, but I am well and truly confused about what shocks to install.
I know I need/want about 250lbs springs, but do I use coilovers and get rid of the torsion bars? Can I still get 968 front & rear shocks with springs? is it height adjustable? What would you recommend?

Actually the M030 version of the 968 features springs at the rear on specific Koni yellows. The torsion bar is not removed on these cars, it was even kept on the 944 turbo Cup cars (also with rear springs, but with specific Bisltein Cup shocks).
The front M030 968 Koni yellows are very similar to the M030 944 Koni yellows, only the valving is stiffer. However the springs between these two set ups are swappable.
I personally would prefer 968 M030 over 951 M030 because of the rear Koni yellows featuring springs.
The Bilstein Cup shocks are IMHO unbearable for road use (they also cost the Earth provided you manage to find a set).
All the set ups mentioned here are height adjustable.
Just my £0.02 worth.
Edited to add :
TechArt make a complete sport chassis for the 944 turbo (shocks, springs, bars) for a mere 750 €. I do not know what it's worth though.
However if you feel wealthy enough you may want to install Motons/JRZ shocks. A tad expensive but impossible to beat for quality and adjustability IMHO.

1. do not delete the torsion bars, there is not enough rigidity in the damper top mount to fully support your car. If you want to go stiffer try Thhoms suggestion and look into the 968 Koni coil over.
2. Boge shocks ar pants, agreed.
Late Koni Struts are no longer made but were a good option.
The Koni M030 kit is available from Porsche, the 968 kit including anti-roll bars is around £1500+VAT at the last count so it seems a sensible way to go.
Koni & Bilstein still do sport shocks for the earlier screw top strut that can be fitted into the sealed Boge leg with a bit of a fiddle, maybe a good choice if you are a cheapskate (sorry, if you are looking for a competitively proced solution)

Is it safe to assume that late 944/968 arbs will fit on a 1984 944 running steel wishbones ?
Currently I have standard suspenion except for koni yellow adjustables all round, Porsche shop do reasonably priced lowered springs are these any good or should I being looking else where ? I'm not familiar with spring rates as such and would be looking for a good Bumpy B-road/ track compromise (yeap I dont want for much do I !
