About 4.5 - 5 years ago a mate and me were talking to some girls in a pub and I met up with one of them a couple of times for a couple of drinks. No hanky panky, nothing, just a couple of beers or a coffee etc. Anyway, she was sending me loads of text message and stuff and kept ringing me so I explained that I was not interested and left it at that. Periodically I would get texts and missed calls which I ignored (the old head in the sand and it will go away technique!). She left a few voice mails saying she was going to delete my number so I was happy about the situation.

Fortunately she does not know where I live, work or anything but she remembered that I said I drank in a local pub (in the town where I live) and rang the pub a few times to see if I was there. I refused to take the calls asking the pub to say that I no longer drunk there.

A couple of years or so later she sends me an e-mail through facebook saying that she joined with the sole reason of locating me. I replied saying that I had since got married (not strictly true but I thought it was a justified white lie) and that she should leave me alone and live her own life and so on. I then get repeated e-mails telling me all about what she's been doing and how much she'd like to meet up again and so on. So I block her and close down my facebook account.

Sorted I think... I then was shopping with the gf and I get grabbed from behind and it was her. Quite shocked I didn't know what to do and out of my mouth blurted "oh, hello, how are you" then promtly legged it dragging the gf behind me. This was probably a year ago.

Anyway I had not thought of it for a while until the same thing happened this weekend. I was shopping and the gf had an appointment in one of those girly beauty places and so I bought myself a magazine and headed off to a coffee shop to have a coffee and have a read until the gf was free again. I walk into the coffee shop and hold the door for the person behind me and it was her! She then proceeded to sit next to me and explain that she'd seen me 10 mins before and followed me into the coffee shop.

I didn't really know what to do and so said very little and tried reading my magazine while she talked at me for 10 mins. I made my excuses, made it quite clear that I wanted no contact with her and left. She looked at me really disappointed when she said how nice it was to have bumped into me again and my response was "yes, I'm sure it was". Why on earth did she think I was going to reciprocate the feeling? Take the hints woman, I've practically ignored you for the last 10 mins, ignored your calls and messages, blocked you from Facebook then closed my account down and also run away from you the last time you saw me!!!

The next fking day I get an e-mail through flickr (i have a flickr site) from her. She'd only found my flickr page, created herself an account and e-mailed me saying it was lovely to have coffee and that she'd bought me a present a year ago (why the fk would anyone buy someone that they have no contact with a present) and that she'd like to give it to me.

I wish she would just bugger off and leave me alone! Crazy fking bh! I don't like this feeling of being pursued.

Should she follow me into another coffee shop would I be justified in slamming the door in her face and breaking her nose?

Sounds like you've got a live one there!

(You can substitute the word "live" for "mental", "dangerous" or "insane" - your choice).

Just make sure you tell your GF exactly what the situation is - she needs to be aware and if this nutjob does anything daft won't think you were encouraging it.

Why do you think I joined here?

You Love me.

You just don't know it yet.

We will be together, and that scrawny cow I saw you with will never stop us.

Coffee tomorrow, bunnikins?

I have told the gf exactly what has been going on. When I met her after her beauty appointment (doing whatever girls do in those places) I told her straight away what had happened again and she laughed! She thinks it is hilarious! Although she did say that for the rest of the day I was 'all nervous'. So too would she be if some crazy loon was pursuing her!!

i'd make it very clear that you *want nothing to do with her*

or just tell her to leave you the fk alone (as she really doesn't take a hint)

hope you're bunnies are safe and that you don't have brown cushions biggrin

rofl Well deserved indeed, never saw that coming.

As for the mad bh, I'd be involving the Police, right now, not posting on here. She sounds as mad as a leopard forced to wear latex with a chilli up its arse.

Cops. Now.

You should always do that, anyway.

The battery terminals rust otherwise.

Why haven't you shagged her in the mouth yet?
You should at least take advantage instead of running around like a terrified baby crying "ooooo what do I do, a girl fancies me?"
I dont get it.

It is the Herald, women can't resist!!

Be careful, I had a crazy stalker and she even found my home number causing all sorts of chaos. I ended up reporting her to her company HR department, the police and having to block all with held numbers to my work and home. Not good.
