My 111s needs new rear pads and discs and the front discs are looking a little worse for wear as well. Currently the car is using some sort of Pagid pad on the front and Mintex 1144 on the back. Front discs are Ally bells and rear discs are OEM.
I'm obviously going to replace the front disc 'rotors' with replacements from EP which will set me back the best part of £200. The rears, I'm not sure about. More ally bells doesn't really seem worth it but what are my best alternatives?
If I go for Pagid RS42 pads all round am I going to get the rear of the car locking before the front. Should I go for mintex on the back maybe?
I'm keen to firm up the pedal as well. Been looking at braided hoses and uprated Master Cylinders but would like to hear how people have got on with these before I commit as its starting to look very expensive!

You shouldn't have any probelms with the rear locking up first. If anything, the rear could do with more brake bias than the standard setup gives, at least on track.
Turbogrooves on the back with EP floaters at the front is a perfectly adequate setup, but I would advise using the same pads all round. Different pads from different manufacturers can have different responses to heat, braking pressure and wear, and could potentially alter the brake balance during use. RS4-2s are an excellent pad for all-round road and occasional track use.

Sounds like a good plan - go for the EP OE spec discs on the rear with 42s all round. Braided hoses are a matter of taste, I know people who tried them and took them off and felt the rubber hoses gave a little bit of leeway - I'm sure a lot of the "night and day" benefits people report are due to a fluid change and proper bleed - might be an idea to put some decent fluid in while you're at it - always used AP600 in mine (think Motul and Silkolene do a '600' brew as well), half the price of SRF.
I wouldn't bother with the uprated master cylinder unless youi have a specific problem, they tend to give a shorter pedal which may not be ideal for every day although I haven't driven an Elise with one. ISTR it's got a larger capacity for the uprated AP calipers.
