Diablo SV owners
Discussion
I am looking for a replacement l/h door glass for my 1998 SV and i have a couple of questions.
After looking on eurospares website they seem to have a replacement window made by cristallo sx, listed as original equipment. A quick look at my window shows no reference to cristallo but shows the name swisslamex. I have googled swisslamex but there is nothing in english.
I would like the replacement window to match the others. Does anyone know if cristallo and swisslamex have a connection, do other ownwers have one or the other on stamped their glass ? Any help much appreciated.
Also are there any other sources, bar eurospares, for new/used glass that would be worth checking ?
Thanks.

Hi
We have a 74 espada being restored. We have owned it since 1978 and the rh glass got broken some time in the 80's. Didnt do anything about replacing it at the time, thinking it would be dead easy to locate a new glass. Wrong. I trolled the internet, did all sorts of searches, even phoned Pilkington glass in the north somewhere to no avail. We were just about to go down the route of having a pattern made and the glass reproduced when a company came back to me that I had emailed. "Have you tried HR Owen" they said. No, Said I, but by the next day it was on order and arrived special courier 2 weeks later. It cost about £600 including the carriage. So, if you are a member of LCUK you also get a small discount on purchase price. By the way, that was HR Owen in London 0208 930 6243. Just watch out for the euro exchange at the moment.
Good luck
Lynne
