Hi all,

Just a quick post to introduce myself. I have had the Monaro, a VZ CV8 for just over a year now. I chose the CV8 because I like the discrete looks and wanted money in hand to carry out mods. Anyway thought it was about time I registered on here having been spotted by Madmunky and seeing his car up at Monkfish.

I have started on the modding route with the car and last year went for the Wortec catback and remap which made a big difference. Much more eager to rev to the red line and of course a much improved sound but this modding lark is addictive. Six months later and a quick call to Roger, and the car was booked in for headers and hi flow cats. Wow what can I say? I wasn't sure just how noticeable the difference would be but it certainly is despite not remapping this time. The car is now sounding exactly how I feel it should. I think the Monaro is a great car, nothing on the road I have encountered since the cat back and remap apart from bikes has had the legs on the Monaro. Next step supercharger!

welcome! What you want to do is chuck in a 3.9 rear diff or a kaaz, then add a cam and keep it as mother nature intended wink
