....

I couldn't help chuckling when I heard on the news that Jade Goody's fly on the wall doc was being shown on Living TV.

Must be a horrid thing to go through, but it still made me laugh a little.

As you were.

I know this is controversial, but who else is tired of hearing Jade Goody tell the world how she is doing this for her kids? Why must she be on every channel, every magazine and paper?? She is a millionaire and her kids will have a very comfortable life anyway......

I am as sorry as the next person to hear that she has an incurable disease, but putting herself on every channel, every night, is not for her kids!

I'm in the States at the moment, so I'm missing most of this.
I know she's terminal, marrying her arsewipe of a partner and she's planning on putting her death on TV. Any more I need to not want to know?

She also wants her kids to get the educashion what she didn't never 'ave.

At least they'll get to know where East Angular is.

Personally i don't have a problem with the woman though, i think she made the most of what little she had given her parents and the state of her state education

Not really. The post above yours suggests a bit of product placement for Ronseal. I can only assume they are going to paint her in it instead of using makeup. A bit like a shiny Dale Winton perhaps.

I do wonder whether, in years to come, her children will say "I would rather we had had no money than know now that she wed herself through her last few weeks".

I can't help but feel her life is a bit like the Truman Show. She seems to have been created by reality TV and now her illness and, I expect her death, will be big media events.

I wonder if in the future, her life will be studied as some kind of investigation into the cult of celebrity that exists at the moment.

Cant stand the woman,For the next few months I will avoid buying a paper and watching anything about her.
While it is absolutely tragic for her and her family I just don't want it rammed down my throat morning noon and night.

She needs to take a step out of the public eye.

Not something the nation needs to see / get attached to at the moment.

But on the plus side, screenings for cervical cancer have gone up 30%; she's made many aware that cancer is not just something for old people.

Sad as it is, she is only one of many in the same situation, at least she can make some money out of it for her family.......what do the others get, sod all......... maybe she will at least donate some of the money to a cancer charity. My heart goes out to her and the family. I would not wish her condition on to anyone.

I will be one of those, however, who will not be buying OK magazine, or whatever magazine she is in.

Thing is, for her, this is normal. Anything that isn't in the public eye isn't her is it? So perhaps this is her way of coping.

Insensitive or not - You can't claim to be wanting to make money for your children before you go, but then having a £1.5million wedding (apparently).

Oh Goody, another Jade bashing thread. rolleyes

I suppose she is an easy target after all.

Maybe if some of you have had/have a relative with cancer you wouldnt be saying these things.

She is a 27yo girl FFS, she will be dead by the end of the year. Thats great isnt it, lets celebrate. eek

Anyways, lets not get too serious.

I prefer Goody to all the other Z listers, apart from Richard Blackwood who is just ace and "our" Will Smith. laugh
