It's currently put away awaiting some TLC and better weather so hasn't been on the road for the past few months. I shall be getting it to Dulfords soon.

ETA: I've had the car since 2004, prior to that it was owned by Pete Struck and before that I think it was J_S_G...?

Hi V8S. Nice to hear she is still on the go. Mr Stuck did own it for a while, but i heard his wife was not quite as keen as he was regarding the fact that she knocked dry stone walls down when accelerating. I owned her before that and yes bought the car off J-S-G. Enjoy the summer you lucky man.

Indeed it was, very very quick. Unfortunately, the Dakota drag meets are no more thanks to noise abatement crap. Bloody good (safe) fun.

Hi Ren. Not sure where the info came from re my Mrs? Both she and I loved the V8S for a fairly short ownership. In fact she mentions getting another TVR every now and then, so it obviously has an effect. No incidents with dry stone walls that I'm aware of.

I did get to Silversone for S-Club Heaven once and did an airfield driving day at North Weald, plus a few local club events. Sold the car due to a change in circumstances, a decision I soon regretted, but things move on.

Saw the little black MX which you PX'ed with me up for sale a while back also. Funny how these things crop up.

I remember that day well..... Sold my V8S too, just wasn't driving it much due to having a child so went for a more practical sports car.

Hope you are well Pete.

Car is back on the road now - electrical problems have been sorted, engine running great again, and we enjoyed a great run and nosh-up with the Bristol region yesterday.

Hi Mike/Dave...

'twas a bit wet, but enormous fun. Funny how just a few miles demolished best part of a tank of fuel though!

Good to hear your back on the road Graham. I'm trying to plan my time such that I can pop along to Cheddar Gorge in April, so may catch up with you there.
