The best model Ferrari to buy would be a Murcielago, Diablo, Countach or Gallardo. All very reliable Ferraris.

I spent a bit of time looking around for one. I followed the advice of Mike Wheeler or Rardley and look for the latest you can buy; a manual; and the body shell type is a matter of taste! Eventually I decided I preferd the look of older cars and bought something else!
However I have feet in both camps and would side with Andrew! Buy a Lambo! Go on, you know you want to!!!!! lol

Now now, be nice kids!

355 is an excellent choice, if you like wind the hair stuff then get a GTS,
stay clear of the F1 as it's an early try and not that good compared to current tech.

It's a real drivers car, very nimble and precise and is likely to hold it's value pretty well too
get yourself a sports exhaust and treat yourself to the best sound you'll ever hear on a road car.

It get's like that with the lambo guys I'm afraid Gary ... and yes, very helpful as they can be, the rest of the cliquey in-joking does become very wearing.

in fairness i was told if i did buy the 355 that i wouldnt drive the countach as the performance would be the same without the impracticality!
I thought my first reply was a sensible one about the choices of 355! sob! I just prefer the looks of the older Ferrari cars.

God this section has become boring.

I still think the marques should be split up.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
John If that happened i would have to deal with two forums! Im a man, how could i be expected to do that??????????
Anyway, i like going to Ferrari concourse meetings with my car with the 'Lamborghini club uk' sticker on it and perplexing the judges about adding or deducting marks for 'originality'!
Hope life is good for you and hopefully see you soon? Bristol in April?

Ah, thats a good point - didn't think about logistics!

We will just have to get the lambo boys and girls to behave and stop bullying people for having some class and wanting a ferrari.

;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
