Actually, TC and I are off to Silverstone later in the month so best I keep my powder dry.

Also, I bought my brother a novice day at Brands in his Astra VXR (which I have cuningly added myself as a 2nd driver to ) and hope to do in March too.

How's the 2009 season shaping up mate?

The car hasnt turned a wheel on track yet so havent got a clue!

Have changed a lot over the winter with a few intresting modifications, hence the reason im doing all these track days rather than test days. Gives me a lot more track time to re-learn the car. Cant wait to drive it! Think it should be quicker this year.

Good chance I might well pop down there, not sure yet if it will be in the Cerb to take part or just for a day out and a natter with like mided folks in the pits.

BTW 'James', I notice on the attendees list that a Mr Phil James is booked to attend (driving an M3 ) That our man coming along to? (someone else to show me up )

Pretty sure it's not our Phil no, but then you never know - Don't think he often books, just rocks up on the offchance and seems to normally find a space. I'll drop him a line and let him know we are there, even if he can't do the day he might pop down I guess, I think Nicky was hoping to make it down as well, as a spectator only though.

Yeah give us a bell and we will sort somefink out, if you can get away for the night before then have a spare bed here which will shorten your journey a bit, maybe we can grab a ruby.

They dont allocate garages on track days, so its on a first come first served basis.

We will be in a garage somewhere hopefully!

How did the new engine perform?

Looked like you were running laps in the high 50s just before I left then I saw the laptop get plugged in so I assume it needed some tweaking.
