soon i will be putting on some 15 inch BBS alloys off an E30 onto my E21, and was wondering what tyres i should put on. after much thought i have decided to go for 195/55R15's since these tyres offer an almost identical rolling circumference as the current tyres on there (165/80R13's).

price wise not tooooo worried, although for a set of 4 would not really want to be paying more than £300, £350 absolute tops!! so.... the question is what brand of tyre should i get? i'm after a fairly durable tyre but one which offers plenty of grip. i do not want cheap crappy tyres!! i've heard good things about falken tyres, since these offer great value for money.

thanks for any advice guys!

Falken - for sure, try the 452 if you can get it in your size.

hmmm these look any good to anyone? would mean if i were to have these all round looking at only about £200! bargain! but anyone know what these are like, grip wise? durability? as long as they do around 15k miles or more i'm happy. with only circa 100bhp now (after new carb) they aren't exactly going to get proper punishment! but i do like decent tyres.

Yup, good tyres Falkens, had a couple of sets myself. Hard to beat for the money. Toyo's pretty good as well. Just avoid any cheap, far eastern crap.

Avon's are good for the money along with BF Goodrich. Coopers worth a look as well.
