Based on the damage, Id say worse case they only threw a turd into their undies.

I'm going round to have a look-10mins away. Why on earth would they write it off if there is no chassis damage?

They had a yellow 5.7 last week, very light front and easy repair rear, went for £5100..........bargain if you do not mind waiting for a few parts and do most of it yourself...............

Remember how expensive the fron end is, and it's got a nice whack in the OSR quarter too - aftermarket pipes though!

Got a genuine new front bumper for half Vauxhall money if needed.

Me to just been for a look and to see if he was interested in selling/exchanging the exhaust
separately(he wasn't).The car seemed very lightly damaged the front only seemed to need a bumper + a minor tidy up of the front crosmember & the rear would ideally want a new 1/4 panel but in my opinion was reparable with a bit of time and a keen hammer wheels would also need a refurb but from what i could see they were also repairable.
If any body is interested i would also check the under side for damage as they do get moved about with forklift trucks occasionally

Check the chassis or wishbones on the o/s rear.

When I last saw this car the wheel was bent right in so it looks as if someone has "pulled" it out to make it look not as bad as it is!

May need a set of rear arms which I think was the reason for cat d.

That means the rear sub frame is probably knacked as well. Wonder if Big Fish1 would know what the implications are in repairing this one?
