I've wanted a Nissan 300ZX since I was 13, thought I might treat myself to a t-bar twin turbo. Looking through the classifieds and theres a lot of variation in models, import, uk, modded, standard, etc. Anyone here got any buying guide links or tips in choosing a worthwhile investment

I'm assuming also I might be able to get one on classic insurance if it's 15 years or older?

thanks smile

expect 4 gallons to the mile and big repair bills when it breaks. I wouldnt touch one with yours put its all personal taste. My mates got a UK spec TT manual T bar (nicest IMO) and its cost him serious amounts of money. Both turbos has blown, ABS has packed up and even when its working right you just get that feeling that something is about to break. Just looking at the engine gives me the willys..

I know this isn't a Zed bashing thread and I hope you get a good one, but all angles a worth considering i hope
