Teenage girl is blaming the salon where she got some serious burns even though she ignored the warning signs.

She deserves a kick in the pubic bone

"Teenagers are going to push the boundaries. They are going to do things they should not do."

Correct. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't its called a learning experience...

She's 14, it's winter & she wants a tan?

Who's to say she wasn't doing a tour of all the sunbeds in her town (there's a time limit per day) and this so occurred at an unmanned place scratchchin compo?

Still I feel her pain, I'm pasty as fk typical pink Englishman abroad.

I assume at 14 she could read the warning signs?? Or has our education system totally gone down the pan?

No I took as many risks as the next person!! But if it went tits up it was my fault, I didn't go to the press bleating on about how something shouldn't be allowed just because I fked up!! I suspect the motive here is compo. She fked up using something she shouldn't have been using, so she should just shut the fk up and not do it again!!

Blimey even more confused

Yep - I own up. I missed out on the adolescent "I want to badly injure myself willingly" part.

Why should a 14 year old be on a tanning bed in the first place (in fact why would anyone want to be on one)? It's her parents who need a kicking.

Come on I remember when I drank a glass of washing up liquid, it was funny I burped bubbles for ages, but I did not phone up the local TV company and tell them and expect somebody to monitor me to make sure I was not making any mistakes !!!!

If you read the article the girl actually says she does take full responsibility for it but some social worker health and safety bint is calling for stronger regulations etc etc.

It is just a bit of sun burn anyway, i have had much worse than that looks!
