Hotels? Nah just team up with some PH folk, stick a tent in the back and enjoy suffering within the confines of the circuit smile

I've been for the last two years with airtrack.co.uk

Nice secure area with huge bar marquee and you can pay for them to put a tent up for you. In our convoy last year were a 360CS and a Gallardo spider so none of us had much space.

I wouldn't camp anywhere else. Staying in a hotel is another option but it gets booked up a long time in advance and you really miss out on the craic IMHO. Lots of sitting in traffic jams getting to the circuit.

Go with a bunch of mates...you'll have an awesome time.

Why not? Plenty of us manage it in Ferraris, lamborghinis, 911s, Lotuses and the like.

You might want to have a look on the Le Mans forum?

Was quite possibly one of the best roadtrips I have had.... Picture the scene... Theres a tunnel about 30 miles outside of Calais... theres a red 360 with a tubi, a CS and a Gallardo Spyder..... We slow down to almost snail pace... drop to second and floor it... That 10 second experience was quite possibly the best of the weekend - had us chuckling for about 20 minutes after like school kids!

Would defo recommend the Airtrack... they eve had china toilets and wood panneled showers ;-) Think of it like the Hilton camping....

Do it.....

Tyres....1k
Joe Macari service.....2.5k
New F1 pump....1.7k

Giggling after driving through a tunnel on the way to Le Mans....PRICELESS!!

On a slightly more sober note, 2007 & 08 airtrack superband "the roosters" are not playing this year. However, one of Essex' premier Rock, Rythmn and Blues Bands, "The Receeders" are lined up.

Every cloud....

When we were in Monaco for the Historique GP last year, a group of 3 430 Spiders and a Gallardo Spyder all on British plates did exactly the same thing as we were walking through "The Tunnel" and the sound was beyond belief!
