Things they never tell you but should
Discussion
I have just bought a case of wine from the net. They tell you the year, what it tastes like, wheer it was grown. But nowhere do they list the essential information: has it got a screw top?
You buy a car and they tell you every mortal thing except the thing that matters most: what does it sound like?

Brrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm
Kind of hard to get that one across!

How about some Wav files. Even the das don't let you hear the sound.Brrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm

My point is, advertisers don't really know why you buy a product, only what they think.
If the computer ads told you how quickly a PC could download porn or how many movies the hard disk would hold that might be better?
I want to know if the delivery driver is going to arrive at some god Forsaken hour with my goods and if his van will wake up the dogs.
I want to know if the tele is deep enough to stand the remote control on top when I go to bed so I can find it in the morning, and
What useful things woul you like to know when you buy stuff?

Are you one of these people that is under the impression that screw tops are inferior?
No, I believe they are superior. When I have had a few of an evening the last thing I want to do is be using a sharp thing. Alos I have lost count of the times I have been stuck somewhere (camping, hotel rooms, conferences) with a bottle but no corkscrew and have been obliged to push the cork in and drink the whole bottlethere and then. You can alos lay a half botle down in a jam packed fridge amongst the spinach and tubs of Fem Fraishe without it leaking.Edited by hornetrider on Friday 20th February 10:20
They should all have screw tops.

You are definitely a strong contended for the "Most whiny bloke on PH" title. You buy a car and they tell you every mortal thing except the thing that matters most: what does it sound like?
In fact, now that we've found out that McMuffin has actually got depression, and that Mr POD's wife has obviously started putting out again (possibly), my money would probably be going on you.
Hope that helps.

No, I believe they are fine some some cheeky young wine grown in the colonies, If it's something that needs to mature then cork it is.You can alos lay a half botle down in a jam packed fridge amongst the spinach and tubs of Fem Fraishe without it leaking.
