I don't get out that often these days but last night, 5 pints of bitter with a mate and now, as usual I feel sh!t3.

It normally takes me 2 days to get over a night out which is hardly a rowdy affair and no more than 6 pints tops. This usually about twice a month.

Maybe I need to get out and drink morelaugh

Definitely sounds like lack of practice.

Can you change to Guiness, or German lager. Well they are the only things that do not make me feel horrid the next day. That and I try to neck an alchaselza (sp?) before i goto bed.

I always blame the pipes or that bit of deep fried chicken.

That's how used to feel just before my kidneys jacked in working. Not wanting cause the OP any worry of course. You will be fine until it takes 2 days to recover from 2 pints.

Maybe it's some sort of food allergy you've developed?

It's age - I had a few a couple of weeks back on a Saturday night and it was Sunday night before I even started feeling sober.

Personally I blame the cat-piss Chardonnay that I had for that effect (I also blame it for turning me into an obnoxious tt that night for which I am still apologising for)

Technically no as alcohol speeds up liver function which flushes my main anti rejection drug from my system to fast.
I barely drink now but that is through choice. When I was still drinking regularly it never caused any problems, you just have to be sensible. Basically the quacks recomend you stick to the normal guide lines for healthy living and I ignore them like everybody else.biglaugh

I feel horrible if I drink that 'draught flow' or whatever its called (the creamy electronically pulled crap) looks like ice cream.

+ Allways down a pint of water before you go to bed.
