I was walking through my historic, cathedral city this afternoon, let's call it, I dunno, Winchester, which is thankfully, generally free of an excess of chavs, scumbags and general scrotes for the most part.

Walking towards me however on this fine day were three classic examples of 'hoodie style' young chavs. From where they had sprung, I have no idea. I'd like to think perhaps they were just visiting.

Anyway, I digress. Now I've seen examples of an excess of heavy, 'Elizabeth Duke' type jewellery adorning these specimens before, in the shape of massive rings, neck chains and the like. Today however one of these teenagers was sporting gold coutiere in a very individual style.

To wit: baggy 'tracky' bottoms, the regulation 'hoodie', BIG white Nikes, and an abundance of jewellery the likes of which I have previously articulated.

The fun, and almost disbeleiving part, was that he was wearing a pair of full fingered black gloves, with his huge gold rings placed OVER the outside of the gloves.

My, how I laughed. In a despairing way, of course.

Is this the latest thing? Or was he just a dick? We need to know...

Nope. In the high street by Debenhams, walkin up. I'm hoping they were making their way to the station in readiness to catch the train back to Portsmouth...

Probably on their way to pick up an obligatory 'dog on a string' and sit outsied Barclays. You need to do the proper Winchester thing and try and pretend these sorts of people don't exist in our fair town....

Christ how long have you lived in Winchester? I recently moved from Winchester partly due to the excessive amount of scumbags who keyed my car about 3 times. The place is full of them!! Winnall, stanmore, olivers battery, all
Over the cat grounds, around mcdonalds, up by the train station and all round the back of it, near the leisure centre, driving around bar end, there are millions of them. I hated the place. I don't know how it's been completely over run with chavs but somehow it has. frown

Either chav is cold or chav wants to look cool whilst on the rob.

More than likely chav is just a cock.

What a prize cock, I have seen the gold emblazoned fools at their peak, 'boyz' covered in sovereigns and a length of garden chain around the neck, girls with their fking rag dolls or clowns around their necks and hoop earrings that would make the london eye feel inadequate. I have never seen the low life fodder wearing boxing gloves and ring! They truly have sunk to a new low!
Its time for JJB's to have a massive sale, and a box of matches.

Can I suggest that those of you (I am guilty of this also) who view "Chavs" with contempt and disdain, try the following-

Replace Chav in all your posts with "White Working Class Boy". Then have a think about the acceptability of your views and posts. Does it change your attitude.

White Working Class Boys no longer look like the lad in the old Hovis adverts. They have a 21st century uniform based on cheap sports wear and cheap jewelry. These are the same White Working Class Boys that are being failled by our schools and LEAs.

Just my thought for today.

Let the flaming begin.
