London in the evening - things to do.
Discussion
I am not overly familiar with London but know that if offers much. The wife would like to spend an evening there and I wanted to ask fellow members here if they could suggest things to do in the evening before we moved onto a resteraunt and then, hotel.
All I have so far is a walk along the Thames to Waterloo Bridge! Not too impressive a list.
I appreciate that many attractions close after 5 or 6 but I am sure some stay open.
Many thanks.

Nothing wrong with Waterloo Bridge, my favourite one, amazing views. How about a nice slow evening stroll along The Mall towards the Palace, always impressive, then back down the Mall or through St James park and across Horseguards Parade (where they do trooping the colour), across Westminster Bridge past Big Ben and down onto the South Bank. Stay clear of Trafalgar and Leicester Squares, s
tholes.
I can't stand London during the day, but in the evening it can be a beautiful place.
