Radio on Nav Computer not working E46 M3

Went out this morning and all ok, just been out this afternoon and the radio won't turn on but sat nav is ok (although it won't play the audio instructions). In fact, all buttons to the left of the widescreen appear to have failed.

Anyone heard of this happening and possible resolution?

Seems to be a problem with dry joints in the radio control module (found in the boot). Fairly expensive to replace too. As a quick fix if this happens, remove the fuse for the stereo, then replace. Stereo should work again now but if it continues to happen then it'll have to be a replacement unit.

Cheers! Disconnected the battery on Sunday night and that sorted it. Hopefully it won't happen again.
