ards test questions. can anyone give me some sample question

about to take my ards test and was just wondering if anyone who has done it could give me some of the sorts of questions they ask? thanks, Josh

You may be best asking in the UK Club Motorsport section.
A couple of the question I remember are (not word for word correct, but you get the idea)

You find yourself driving on the grass do you:
Maintain your current speed and drive off the grass
Brake hard to reduce speed and drive off the grass
reduce power gently and make small steering corrections to leave the grass

You notice flames from your car, do you:
Speed up and hope they go out
Drive to the pits
Stop at the nearest Marshalls post

and the one that seems to catch many out:
If the gantry lights are faulty which flag starts the race:
Green flag
National flag of the hosting country/Union Flag (I can't remember if it's worded as Union flag or National flag)
Chequred Flag

National flag as I recall; as the answer is that its the flag of whatever country you're racing in (British for GB, not English/Welsh/etc)

Yes, you MUST write "National Flag" .... if you don't it can constitute a fail!
