Hi all,

Spent today cleaning the chassis and engine bay.

I am very pleased with the state of the chassis as there is very little rust. However the coolant pipes are horrible and rusty. What are the options for these?

Can you buy stainless replacements? or do people just sand them back and repaint them?

Also there is one metal coolant pipe that goes up the side of the engine by the battery and branches in two. One branch goes up and under the expansion tank the other branch disapears into the wing under the battery.

Where does it go and how do you get it out?

Regards,
Mark

Hmmmm.... they look nice, I think those plus some purple silicone pipes would be just the job!

Yup, I agree with the ACT stuff. Bought the pipes and hoses at the last Austec do.
Also had a recore done at Kempston Rads for 138 quid. Second time I have used them, and very happy with the results.
