Cant enter cheat in RFactor Chat box?

HI, have downloaded loads of really great cars into RFactor, however i dont have enough money to unblock them. I understand there is a cheat which you type ISI_BABYFACTORY into the chat box - however i cant type anything in my chat box. Currently try when in the pit garage and clicking mouse on the chat box or on chat still doesnt let me type anything in there?

It's easier just to edit the file for the mod which allocates your money and change the figure to a higher amount. Just go into the userdata directory and then into the folder named after your username and then the file for the mod which you want to drive the cars for. You can then open that file in notepad and change the figure it gives for how much money you have.

I dont have a folder named after my username in the GameData Folder? Nothing even after i complete a race and quit??

Then open up the CCH file using notepad and edit the first two line for experience and money eg. below

Experience=44195
Money=1784909

If you are on Vista the userdata folder is not in the rFactor directrory, it's in your vista user directory.

That's odd, I'm on Vista and mine is in the Rfactor directory!

Maybe it's because I'm in Vista 64bit - or otherwise because I don't install games to \Program Files\, but rather to \games\

Even stranger now I've had a chance to look at home, I've found I have that folder in both places and they seem identical. The only thing I can think of is that it might be becuase I don't have it installed on the main hard drive.

how about play the game through instead of cheating? and earn those 'nice cars' by playing the game its ment to be played?

Most of the cars he's talking about though are additions by third parties and so were not a part of the original game.

Spot on the advise about Vista, used data was not in the Rfactor folder but vista

Rfactor is only good for online racing, racing against the computer is just frustrating as the computer cant driver propperly.
