We moaned about only being allowed 8 people in a lobby...

Now we've got room for 12 I say we start filling them!
Player match seems to work okay when you host an invite only lobby, and for me RacePro's online better be half decent or else Forza will find it's way back into the tray where it will remain for a long time I reckon...
So who's up for it?

Hmmm, I reckon you'll get mixed reviews from whoever you ask to be honest!
IMO, it has some excellent features but I can't help but feel ever so slightly dissapointed with it so far, I keep playing it in the hope that it grows on me, and I really hope it does, but at the moment it still feels only half finished...
Compared to Forza the graphics are really not up to much at all. As people have said on the main thread before, everything looks quite nice as long as you are in any view other than outside the car, in which case it looks horrible. As I said, it does have some nice features though, for example last night I was chasing Mikey around Monza in the pouring rain and in the cockpit view that I use I could barely see out the front window for his spray untill I pulled out from behind him which I though was a pretty cool touch, I also like how some of the cars spit flames out the back occasionally as well!
For me though the graphics don't bother me too much as I am willing to sacrifice some of that for good racing, but as it stands nothing really sets it much further in front of Forza unfortunately...
I'm not sure if renting it would be such a good idea as I think (hope!) that it is perhaps going to take some time to get into and properly enjoy - hence needing some PH casual races online!

Anyway ill add to your review, the buggy leaderboard, yesterday i done a 2.01 round brno a bloody fantastic time, i go on leaderboard and it says i done a 1.20 something (this isnt possible even in a f1 car ffs) so im second on the leaderboard, i dne a 1.37 flat round brands hatch in wtcc and it hasnt registered (again a super quick time) baring in mind i race in pro with manual gears and in car viewing.
I love the handling of the game etc, but online seems unfinished and rushed out, Iv read the manual and it says about TRUESKILL ranking and after races you go into a skilled lobby of some sort to keep the racing close, none of this has been implemented and it better do soon.
Apart from the niggles its got huge potential. add me tonight ill be on after 9.

Totally loving this game, managed to get in a group of 5 for a good few races and only got disconnected a few times earlier in the evening, it was quite good though as you would allways get an invite from whoever was hosting!
Love the track day style waiting bit too!
