How do i remove a gearknob on a R56 Mini???

Just pull it really hard and try not to hit yourself in the face when it comes off!

On the R53 that is how to do it, but on the R56 you need to pull the surround and gaitor up first to avoid ripping the gaitor as its attached to the knob. Then pull the gear knob off and the knob and gaitor come away as one. Push the gaitor over the knob and you'll see how it's connected.
