Just washed my car for the first time since the recent snow and ice and although it's come up nicely there are quite a few marks on the car (the bonnet especially) which look a bit like sap marks when you've parked under a tree. As I've not parked under any trees it can't be this? Could the gritting salt have caused them?

Anyhow, how do I get rid of them? I washed the car with Zymol which normally gets rid of everything else but it didn't touch these.

Any ideas?

I would suggest claying, followed by a paint cleanser should sort you out.

Yup, McGuiars clay bar system should sort it out. Hard work, but work it. Velvety smooth paintwork afterwards.

Bilt Hamber auto Clay is the one you want, will not marr the paint.
