However, bloody tipical, on the way home some car threw up a stone and I now have a cracked windscreen banghead

I noticed yesterday that there is a lot of crap on the roads. I got a stone chip in mine, only a little one, but I still got the chip repair guy out to fill it to stop it cracking. Don't know how big your crack is Mark but is filling it an option?

:-( not good.

Hope you get a good and not so expensive one installed.

Last time I brought in my RT/10 for service and a new windshield (!) I saw it for the last time in one piece ...the car!

At the moment its just over 1/2" with a nice impact mark in the center frown I will give the insurance company a call. Autoglass might be able to patch it up, but its still going to look crap! All part of the joys of driving on Surreys wonderfull roads banghead

Thats not that big Mark, they can make them almost disappear. I have to look really hard to find the repair on mine and I know where it is. Have a go, they come to you and it cost me £40 as I didn't want to claim.
