Where to sell an old book, and would it be worth anything?

I have just been tasked my a grandparent to see if an old book is worth anything, and where would be the best place to sell it.
The book is AESOP'S FABLES, as illustrated by EDWIN NOBLE, published by RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS LTD
Her gran believes this to be around 200 years old. It doesn't have a date on it that i can see, but says on it 'publishers to their majesties the king and queen.
Unfortunately, its not in the greatest of condition; somewhere along the line children have drawn on it, and the glue on the spine has come apart, but it is pefectly readable.
I wondered if anyone knows if it would be worth anything, and if so where would be the best place to try and sell it? I am reluctant to Ebay it, as its sods law it would go for peanuts only to be worth a fortune, thats how well me and ebay go together!!

I doubt if it is 200 years old if it was published by a limited company.
What style are the letters used in it? If they are recognisably modern, then it would put it later than the 1830/40s. 18th Century and earlier typefaces would have that odd letter "s" that some people sometimes mistake for a letter "f".

Damaged books can be repaired if their value warrants it.
Try looking through ebay's past sales - you can do this through search options.
To be honest, ebay tends to set the market rate for a lot of antiques and collectibles these days. You would be amazed at some of the very high value books that get sold on there (as in tens and hundreds of thousands of pounds).
To be honest, from your description it doesn't sound like you are sitting on a retirement fund I'm sorry to say, but then collectors books aren't really my area of expertise.
