Broken dipstick - what glue

The dipstick has parted company with the screw top.

It looks like it was glued in place. Does anybody know what type of glue i need to use to fix it back together again?

I had the exact same thing a few weeks ago. Just got some heat/oil resistand stuff from homebase. Cost about £5 as has been fine since.

Just found it. It's "Unibond metal repair". In a black & yellow twin tube that mixes together as it comes out.
