Off the axle stands at last

Got the S off the stands finally yesterday, went on early December. All the chassis cleaned up and treated, also a full service and some.
Got sat in put the key in with crossed fingers. Fired up on the first turn
Within five minutes noticed smoke coming out from under the bonnet
after the initial panic - turned off, jumped out and grabbed the fire extinguisher. Only overspray body wax on the manifold thankfully.
This morning had the first drive of the year, only a few miles to warm the oil for a change and check stuff over. So tempting to go a lot further but played on the safe side, problem with the headlights but otherwise good.
so nice to be out driving again.
