How many RHD 355 spiders ?

Reading an article in classic car mag over the weekend and there was a quote that there were 139 RHD 355 spiders brought into the uk and 360 rhd 355

So it started me wondering is this right and if it is how many were rhd manual red with crème spiders ( only as that the car I have and it took ages to find)

So my workings go something like this :

139 Spiders

65% Red : 90 cars

65% or red ones manual : 58 Cars

65% of red / man / creme interior:40 cars

10% written off therefore 36 cars available

Anyone got any views?

Youre also forgetting the "not worth buying" (condition, mileage, mchanicals, pranged etc etc) - which some people estimate can be as high as 50%...

= ~18 cars!

Then you need to find the owners of said cars who actually wish to sell!

There were 139 RHD UK 355 Spiders WITH the F1 GEARBOX....out of a total of 454 UK cars. Total production of 355 Spiders was 3714 for all markets.

Bleedin Norah! I'd have thought that was the total output of 355s alone. Didn't realised I owned a car that is so common!
