Special flight landing at Northolt now. Pictures on BBC News. Thing is, he, through his legal team, alleges that British Intelligence were complicit in his torture. And yet he's still coming here? WTF?

He's earned some air miles too.

I wonder who is paying his legal fees? Don't tell me, let me guess, I might need a little while to think about it.........

here is the question I would love the media to ask this clown!

Why, where, when was he caught by US army. Why was he there at that point in time?

I am in noway condoning his treatment by USA, but if you are caught in a warzone, you are not exactly angel gabriel are you?

IIRC he was picked up using a dodgy passport by the authorities in pakistan...

This may or may not be true (could just be a dodgy claim by the US/UK)

Well, given that the US authorities (with ample assistance, no doubt, from other agencies around the world) had 4 years to come with something and have signally failed, I'm rather inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe it's an alien concept to you, but we have this thing called 'proof' that we kind of like to see before convicting people. There could be a million and one reasons why he was picked up by the US; maybe he's guilty as sin, maybe he's not - but the one thing we know for sure is that he's been locked up for years without any evidence that he did anything wrong.
