Hello...some assistance please, can someone confirm how difficult it is to get a child seat to fit in a Cerbera? (rear/front facing). I have a 7 month old son, and it's been a real challenge to get the correct seats for our other cars,I'm not exactly relishing the thought of purchasing a different car because I can't get a baby seat to fit a Cerbera...(heart starts to sink)....some practical feedback would be most appreciative.

You can get a rear facing seat in the passenge seat (just!). But it isnt ideal as it touches the dash. In an accident it woulddnt be good.
The front facing ones in the rear are good - many fit eg freeway and recaro. But only for a child nearer 1 yr old?

A rear-facing (Group 0) seat won't fit in the back of a Cerbera - some of them will fit in the front, though, if the passenger seat is pushed right back.

At 7 months, your son is a bit too young to be riding in a Group 1 seat, but it won't be long before he can. The official switch to Group 1 comes at 9 months, but if he can sit unaided for up to half an hour he can sit in a Group 1 seat. SBaby was able to use a Group 1 from about 8 months. But that said, TVR's own seat (the kind they don't make any more...) is very good and he's been comfortable in that for a couple of months now....

We're fine thanks - SBaby is teething, but otherwise all is well. Saw your car up at Joospeed the other week - very nice!

Sincere thanks to those who commented on the above question. I agree with SGirl, at 7 months I wouldn't expect my son to be front facing - he just hasn't been at the weights like Arnie. The existing car seat is a new Britax "First Class" model, and I've had the same problems of touching the dashboard in other cars.... guess I should sit the winter out and delay the purchase of a Cerbera until he's a year old. One thing for sure if a Cerbera behaves like the other V8's I own, snow is something to avoid. thanks anyway!

Nooo! He should be in a front-facing seat within the next couple of months, no need to wait. Don't be mean, buy him a Cerb for Christmas!
