fitted my exhaust on my 111r from jim at 2bular, the sound is awsome not to loud on normal use but when on 2nd cam it screams, to my mind these are the best on the market as have tried a few over the years, it takes about 4 weeks from email to exhaust been sent out, well worth it jim is a top man.

I have a 2bular as well. It's a 7x18 inch silencer. I've not heard it as a fly-by but it don't half sound good in tunnels and under bridges smile

What sizes are people running here?

Castle fitted mine, though back then I think 2bular was still catching on as they hadn't heard of them.

OK, I'm sure this has been done to death, but which is the best exhaust for the 111R? Some say Larini, others 2bular. I want more noise, but not too much boom at motorway speeds. Which is lighter? And do either offer much in the way of extra power? I've been sent a video of the Larini on an S and it sounds great. Sorry if we're going over old ground, but I'm a newbie...

Glad you asked that andy (chevron) - i've been wanting to, but was worried about going over old ground. Look forward to the responses...

I think I'm going to get booed out of town for being a total amateur, but we'll see...You off to the meet tomorrow? I'll probably be there from 6pm if you fancy some mutual 111R appreciation.

I'm gonna head over, yeah. Prob not till about 7 though, and I think I'm bringing a wing man for moral support. He drives a Scooby, but after taking him for a spin in the 111R on Sunday I think he might not need much arm twisting...

See you tonight.

Sorry, back to exhausts now - Larini, 2Bular, Quicksilver, anyone?

Difficult to answer as most people go with one or the other and generally rave about the purchase they have made - in my case a Larini (love it).

There may be a few that have tried both and it would be interesting to hear from them?

Quick update - 2bular was fitted this morning. So glad I have finally done this - the car now sounds how it should have sounded when I bought it! biggrin

I can now far more easily resist upgrading to an S before 2010
