Some 80's ste that insists on blasting the Thundercats theme tune at me.

Please, mods, get rid of these annoying ads, and restore peace and quiet to PH.

There really getting on my nerves, as I often have multiple threads open. The damn fking things are all playing at once - argghh

The one thing I love about PH is the peace and lack of adverts, now someone has stuck some random camp 80s videos at the side of threads

The internet should be seen and not heard, until such time as instructed by the surfer.

I agree, what company does the advert belong to? As soon as I've tracked down which one it is I'll get it removed.

Jeebus, so that's what it was! There I was, quietly surfing PH as usual, then all of a sudden I've got Thundercats blasting out of the laptop at full blast. Made me jump and woke up the missus and the cat, who then proceeded to give me an earful (the missus, not the cat). rolleyes

And the whole time, Thundercats was still blasting out, as I couldn't see any obvious way of turning the racket off. mad

Is this irritating tacky nonsense really necessary?

LOL and not particularly great when you are on a clients site "consulting" ... is there a way to ensure that adverts don't have sound as I am sure that there are a fair few people that surf at work that may forget to mute their PC's...

Just been caught out by this and I'm unhappy.

Don't know what add caused it (because I closed the window pronto) but surely you must be able to QC your advertisers!

Please get a grip.

Thanks,

I always thought thundercats sounded like a sexual position.

'Where do you want me?'

'Thundercats Hoooooooooo!'

Can I just make one slight point. Moderators only moderate the forums we have no active role in any other aspect of PH.

Thanks

I assume youd need a big sword of omens? (I just remembered it started off as a wee dagger thing and got bigger whe he was angry too!)
